Once again I am driven to write about how much I hate modern music. There's so much imitation, no originality, and the cover of the albums are probably more attractive than the music itself. That, though, is NOTHING. The lyrics are the worst.

You know there's this Cupid's Chokehold song, and lyrics go something like...

"Take a look at my girlfriend, she's the only one I got.
Not much of a girlfriend, I never seem to get a lot."

Oh wow, I hate bands or groups or erm, "artists" who sing lyrics like these. I don't know how it even became a smash hit because the tune is not that great either. What drives me crazy are the lyrics. This guy needs to be dumped in the Sahara desert for a month and left with just enough food to survive so that he can appreciate what he has.

If you didn't like your girlfriend in the first place, why break the poor girl's heart? You aren't worthy of her. Yes, and we all know she's the only one you have, because apparently she's the only one who loves you enough to tolerate your crappy attitude towards the people you're related to. And for that, you aren't even grateful and still say that she isn't much of a girlfriend??? Try fishing a girl out of the street in the 21st century, not many are as committed as your "girlfriend" is to you, and most of them will probably sock you straight for treating them like this, and probably dump you later.

And if you appreciate your girlfriend in the end, why still sing that "not much of a girlfriend" chorus? You obviously still look down on your girlfriend. Seriously, I thought we had better music taste than that.

If you ask me to listen to this kind of crap, I'd rather listen to classical music 24/7. It's not that bad, and it IS better.

And I'm not criticizing R & B, although I don't think that is R&B(it isn't even nice music in the first place), in fact, I have no rights to because I cannot appreciate R & B. Well OK, maybe I can, but only a little, and only those by se7en. See, Korean music is so much better!
