Haha. Well, at last SOMEONE tagged. And yes, Charlene, I've re-linked you. I'm using red, red for happiness, for prosperity, and also for... ANGER!!! Well, I've colled down some since THE incident, but you know, "emotional hurt lasts forever", and time won't heal this wound as far as I'm concerned, it will always leave a scar, unless justice is done! This is so unfair! Unless you went to my school and are my SUPER CLOSE friend, you wouldn't know this. Shen Moo doesn't know this cuz I've kinda neglected her lately(sorry!)... Anyway, my class had our 2.4km run on Monday, 31 July. And I was feeling pretty good that day cuz they sun WASN'T shining and somehow it was raining and the rain gave me a boost of energy. My stamina level was WAY above normal and I was all set for the run, solo steps, and I'll keep repeating the song 'Still'(It's a song I sang at church) in my head. Righto, so the run began. Everyone was jogging much faster than me and I so wanted to catch up but I knew, deep down, that in the 5th round, I would overtake them, so I ran at my own comfortable pace. After my second round(2.4km is 6 rounds), I decided, ok, I should count with my fingers cuz 6 rounds is a lot and I might lose count. So for my third round, I kept my fingers on my left hand at 3. And 4 for my fourth round, and so on... On my FIFTH round, when I was approaching the finish line ready to change my fingers to 6, the person(I won't mention her name) who was supposed to keep track of the no. of rounds for index 1-10 said, "Go Kerryn! 2 more rounds!" And I was like, what the heck? I only got 1 more round! So I thought, nevermind, she probably made a minor mistake and she'll realise it when I finish. But then I was all set to run to the finishing line and get my card which shows my position when they FORCED me to run another round! Can you believe it? During the trial run 2 weeks earlier, I took 16 minutes to run 6 rounds, this time, because I ran SEVEN rounds, I took 19 minutes! Isn't the difference too big? And the worse thing is that, I don't have ANYONE who actually witnessed that I ran 6 rounds instead of 7 because I ran solo. There are people who, however, support me because
1. I overtook them when we were in the same round cuz I was behind them all the while only they didn't notice till I overtook them and they still came in before me.
2. My friend who is ALWAYS behind me(and even she agrees to this) came in much easlier than me
3. My timing was 19.05 and the previous one was 18.35, isn't the difference a bit too much?
And no matter what I said, they refused to believe me. So I shall REFUSE to go for the re-test because I am innocent, I did no wrong and I don't see why I should suffer for some one else's mistakes. Besides, who is this stupid poxy person who made passing NAPHA compulsory? Think about it, for artistic people who are bad at sports, they fail NAPHA and have to re-test and re-test to pass. And for sporty people who are lousy at art, they can fail art all their lives and NOBODY caers to even make them pass! This is ridiculous, why are you so biased? This isn't fair! Anyway, let me talk about something positive.
