Live Earth

Did you guys catch the show? I thought it was really awesome, but I was too tired to watch the entire thing.

And did any of you even wear green on that day? I was pretty disappointed with the response. There are more people wearing black on an average day than the number of people wearing green on that day. To give you a rough estimate, less than 10% of the people are wearing green. It's not about how you look in green, but how you feel about saving this planet.

I've got the evidence. And you can't say it is invalid because everyone saw it with their own eyes. So little adults wore green, thus showing how much they even care about environmental-friendliness. If so little of them care, how do they expect us qing shao nian to be concerned about huan bao when they don't set a good example for us?

Besides, no one really takes what we say seriously. You can try telling ANY adult about how you feel on global warming or any current social situation. They'll jst be like, "Oh, ok...." or worse still, just brush you off telling you that you'er too young to understand such things. True, we may lack the experience. But we certainly DO NOT lack the knowledge. We study geography. We study social studies. We KNOW what is going on, and we know WHY. What we don't know is HOW the people around us can continue to be so unconcerned. Us teenagers can TRY to be more huan bao, but if the adults don't do anything, it's unlikely the situation will change.

The Earth needs you, it needs all of us. There's no reason why people in non developed countries should face the consequences of the sins the developed countries have committed. And there's this one thing. If it gets cold, you can always put more clothing on. But if it gets hotter, you can't take anymore clothing off. So let's try our best to be as environmentally friendly as possible(for starters, you can stop using those deodorants with aerosols), because its the only right thing to do.
