Do you know what I just realised? I like making breakfast.
Really.
Well, not your average boring toast with coffee breakfast. No, I like inventing new dishes so breakfast won't always be the same old thing. I don't konw why, but my family has the tendency to half-toast bread. They just put it in the oven for like 2 minutes and then take it out. Isn't that useless? It just makes the bread warm. The bread is still soft and flimsy and in other words, more or less just like before. The whole point of toasting is to let he bread become brown and crispy so it's nice to bite into. And toasted bread is usually in a browner hue. So the maid always mistakens it as burnt no matter how many times I tell her, THIS IS TOASTED BREAD. Honestly, some people just don't understand. Once, I made tuna toast cups. It was dead easy. I stuffed white bread into a little cup(actually it was fo making egg tarts) then buttered it and but tuna and cheese in the cup. It's good. And easy. I mean, its at least better than a tuna sandwich. Sheesh. But I don' like people interfering when I'm making food. I find it irritating to concentrate on the dish and then answer their usually pointless questions. Like adults ask, do you know how to do this? Do you need help? Are you sure it'll taste good? Does this go together? I mean, if you keep treating us like this person who can't do anything, then we'll end up BEING one. For goodness sake, have some confidence in us!!!
